CPS Installation Procedure
Note: for a trouble-free installation, this procedure should be carried out by a user with full PC Administrator privileges.
If updating an existing installation, the process is the same. You do not need to uninstall the older version.
- Close any open programs on your PC.
- Using your PC File Browser, locate the CPS program file that you wish to install.
- Right click the filename and select Run as administrator. Enter the administrator password if prompted to do so.
- If you have anti-virus or similar programmes installed you may see a warning message appear. Taking any necessary precautions, allow the program to run.
- An installation wizard will pop-up. This allows you to choose the install location, start menu and icon options.
- Step through this using the next button, making any changes that you require.
- At the Ready to Install step, select Install.
- Click Finish.
